What we do
Horse rug laundry and repairs at Field Barn Farm — plus personalised horse & rider wear, gifts and pre-loved equestrian kit.
Turnout and stable rugs, fly rugs, sheets, fleeces and mesh — plus numnahs, saddle pads, hoods, masks, necks, boots, wraps and bandages. We’ll even wash dog beds, duvets and coats.
Turnout rugs, necks, travel boots and coats can be washed and proofed together.
Repairs are carried out after washing. You’ll be contacted with an estimated cost first.
Personalisation of horse & rider wear and gifts — clothing, mugs, keyrings, coasters and photo gifts. Call Kathy to talk through what you’d like.

The workshop
Kathy runs Ready Rugs from Field Barn Farm at Beenham Hill, next to Total Equestrian. Rugs are washed in our own machines, and repairs are done on the sewing machine after washing. Bring your rugs in during opening hours, or call Kathy to talk through washing, proofing, repairs or personalisation.

Particularly hairy rugs and numnahs will carry an extra charge for de-hairing to ensure an effective clean and to protect our washing machines.

Your rugs are washed and proofed as requested. Repairs are carried out after washing, and you’ll be contacted with an estimated cost first.
Rugs are normally ready to collect in 2 weeks — if a delay is likely we’ll contact you. You’ll be notified when they’re ready; please collect within 14 days.

If your rugs come from a yard where any equine diseases are present or have recently been present, please let us know.
For the safety of your own horse, and others, a disinfectant wash will be provided. This will incur a small extra charge (but nowhere near as much as a vet’s bill).
